Oil Spills

W.A.L.T  Write and understand the features of an explanation.

Car Oil Spills Oil Spills polluting our earth. Oil has chemicals in it which is chemicals that pollutes our air. Here is some facts and things that you can help with to save our earth. If we have cars with oil that can leak then the air we breath in will be polluted. Lots people around the world will get sick because of the pollution. All of the oil spills form pollution and we are trying to stop the pollution. All of the Ice burgs are melting because of the pollution and if we get more oil spills than we have more pollution and the Antarctic animals will be gone as the ice has melted and we also need the Antarctic is a home for some and they need stuff from us and if we don’t protect our planet then how our we going to live? How we can solve this problem Now we can save this planet if we ride bikes and its not then we will just polluted the air. Even if we get an electric bike or car we are still going to hurt the earth and if we stay with the cars most have now that's what is staying it  

and we need something to get around on well we could have a hybrid car and thats still got petrel but the petrel powereds the electric in the car. If you think if you would get a car with something that help the planet then get a hybrid and if you have a bike take that sometimes In conclusion oil has chemicals that pollute the air and we need to stop this get a bike not electric or get a car thats hybrid and we need to stop taking this planet for granted.  

Kadoo Drums

On the 26th of October Kadoo Drums came to NBC.

They had drums and they wore also dancing . This stuff is from Africa. 

They played and danced and some of NBC got to play the drums that they had here is some pictures of our experience.

 W.A.L.T Environmental Problems

The Start of tream 4 we have been learning about the plastic and the Environmental Problems. For reading on the last slide we had to make a DLO to explain what you have learnt about and I chose Icebergs or Ice Caps here is the slideshow I made.

Room Rua's class trip to the Bromley Dump

 W.A.L.T Reflect on our experience

On the 21 of October Room Two went to the Bromley dump. We Learned about the  Green Bin first and how to make compost. 

Then we did some activities about the compost. Then we made a compost with the Instructor and her name was Georgina and she helped us make the compost. 

Next we did some activities with the worms and the first activities I did in my group  was to get this bucket with this stuff in it from the worms and the leader/ helper was Quinns Mum, Shelley. We had to mix water and the stuff from the worms in a watering can and had to water the plants around us.

The next activities was to tear up newspaper and wet it then put it in the tub where the tiger worms live for there bed the leader/helper was my Mum, Jackie.

The last activity my group had to take the Tiger worms and there poop and put them in there house and take them away from the poo the leader/helper was Olives Mum, Sarah.

After we had our break we had a run around and we played all in tag.

After our run around we learned about the yellow then the red.

This was Room Rua's class trip.
